The Perimeter Sets

In addition to the kidnapping of the British soldiers by Iran, Saudi Arabia has just made the Middle East a little less stable. Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah stated that Iraq is "under an illegitimate foreign occupation", referring to the presence of the US military. Further, Saudi Arabia stated, "If Israel refuses, that means it doesn't want peace...they will putting their future not in the hands of the peacemakers, but in the hands of lords of war". This statement was made by Saudi Arabia's foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal in response to Secretary of State Rice's comments on reaching peace in the Middle East.

Basically, Saudi Arabia does not want peace with Israel. For Saudi Arabia to move towards peace in the Middle East, especially with Israel then Israel has to return its lands to the pre-1967 border alignments and surrender the holy city of Jerusalem. Sounds like instead of a compromise, they want it all.

If one looks at a current map of the Middle East you will find that Israel is behind enemy lines. Israel has been further entrenched with the comments and demands of Saudi Arabia. Directly to the north is Lebanon, which you can recall was engaged in a heated military battle with Israel this past summer, which included the launching of hundreds of rockets into civilian populations in Israel. To the East is Syria and Jordan, need I say more? To the South East is Saudi Arabia, which has made it's intentions for war with Israel internationally known. To the South West is Egypt, which breeds terror and is a funnel for Islamic extremest and terrorist into and out of Africa.

So what options does Israel have? Continue to stand fast against an enemy that has them surrounded or start swimming I guess.

The contempt for the US is largely derived from our support of Israel. Many say we should cut and run from our ties and stay out of the Middle East war. These are the same people saying we should cut and run form those who attacked us and through insurgency are destroying any hope for democracy in the Middle East. If we cut and run, Iraq will consume itself, Afghanistan will again become a stronghold for Taliban and other terrorist and all countries in the Middle East will be emboldened with their religious fanaticism.

What will this mean? Israel will certainly become a victim and be destroyed, democracy will never survive, Islamic extremism will spread and consume Europe and Africa. Attacks will target America for past involvement and Americans will die. What makes this scenario any different then what happened in the early 1940's? Nothing. We must fight for freedom or there will be no freedoms left to fight for. Yes good men will die and they will have died for something honorable and everlasting...freedom and the American way of life.

The Iran Coercion Affair

The coercion by the Iranian government has begun in earnest. The British
female sailor, Faye Turney, taken hostage with 14 comrades, has purportedly
released a third letter. The letter released by the Iranian embassy claims Turney has been "sacrificed" to the policies of the US and UK governments. The letter also claimed that Turney has been treated well, unlike the prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. The letter further stated, "“It is now time to ask our government to make a change to its oppressive behavior” toward others.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair denounced the captivity of his sailors saying, "I don’t know why the Iranian regime keeps doing this, all it does it heightens people’s sense of disgust. Captured personnel being paraded and manipulated in this way, it doesn’t fool anyone”.

Prime Minister Blair is not 100% right; sad to say that some people are wholly sucked in by this propaganda. Left wing extremists and America haters alike hang on the Iranian governments every word and are more than willing to accuse our government of wrong doing.

Each day as the Iranian crisis grows on account of their new and dumbfounded statements to the international community people here in America continue to step up their hate mongering along with them. For example, Rosie O'Donnell has succeeded in trumping her last idiotic comments. O'Donnell stated that the British sailors were purposely placed in Iranian waters by the British government so they would be "arrested". Why would they do this you ask? According to O'Donnell, so the UK and US governments could justifiably provoke a new war with Iran.

This is the same lady who said on nationally televised cable television that the only way the twin towers could have imploded in that fashion is if they were wired with explosives. Bottom line, she thinks the US government purposely brought down the towers to provoke war with Al- Queda. Correct me if I am wrong but Osama Bin Laden has admitted to the attack, we have captured combatants involved in the attack and we have mounds of evidence, including video documenting the attacks, that this was indeed an un-provoked attack on America.

Where will the lunacy stop? Although hopeful, I don't believe it will ever stop. Why American people look for reasons to hate America is beyond me. For once I am at a loss for words. I cannot provide a reason for this treasonous activity, but I can support actions taken against enemies of the United States. Iran must be delt with swiftly and certainly. The US must allow the UK to take the lead and we must wholly support their actions as they have done ours. O'Donnell must be asked to leave The View and ABC and America must censor her.

The time of letting actions against America slide must end. We must stand for America and support our government. Does anyone really think our government can do anything without the support of it's people? We have set ourselves up for failure. What ever happened to our selfless attitude that saw us through the dark days of WWII? There's a reason we are not referred to as the greatest generation.

The War At Home

So what is more disturbing than a soldier burned in effigy and an American flag being burned and defecated on? Take a close look at the pictures inserted to the right and you will find the answer.

Give up? Look a little closer.

In the picture of the burning American flag and the soldier burning in effigy there is a man wearing a blue shirt between the two. Look who is standing directly to his left, your right. That's right a small impressionable child.

Now in the next picture, we see a naked thug squatting over something. What is he doing you ask? He is defecating on an American flag. Look who is in the background of the picture laughing at what he is doing. That's right, another small impressionable child.

It is one thing for an idiot to disgrace him or herself by getting involved in these unlawful assemblies, but it is another for someone to bring their child to such an event. We thought our children were being brainwashed with liberal garbage in public schools and institutions of higher learning...turns out they're parents were doing it before they made it to junior high. These children are being indoctrinated as the next generation of American haters. When will decent Americans take a stand against these people and say enough is enough?

It is not worth believing in something, unless you are willing to stand for it.

Tennants of Warriorship

With all the negative publicity of the War on Terrorism, a large cross section of the United States appears to be forgetting about the soldiers and their selfless sacrifice to us. Anti-war protestors and indignant left wing idiots probably don’t even know what a real warrior is all about and why they fight. Very briefly I will attempt to explain what makes a warrior and why they should be held in reverence.

First, a warrior is not strictly a war machine. The warrior is melding of body, mind and spirit. The warrior must be in balance to combat today’s violence. They must be in superior physical condition to maintain combat readiness at all times. This includes being a highly motivated student of war and a master of warfare. Violence of action will win the day. They must have a bullet proof mind to protect themselves mentally and emotionally from the horrors of combat. This includes visualization and mental training for future deadly and violent encounters. Not fearlessness, but the ability to channel fear to accomplish the mission. They must be spiritually centered and know that they are doing the right thing for the betterment of humanity. They must know that they are soldiers for God.

So what traits make a wholesome warrior? Loyalty, courage, selflessness, benevolence, honor, faith, moral righteousness, respect, self control and integrity to name a few. A true warrior realizes these traits of a highly effective person and will build their life around them. For today’s warrior, more important than yourself is the man fighting next to you.

This brief liturgy is a glimpse of what the way of the warrior is all about. The diligence and dedication of these fine American warriors will continue to defend freedom for generations to come. May God bless these fine people and their service to us.

Iranian Plot Unfolds

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard paper, A-Sharq Al Awsat, admitted that Iran would abduct American and coalition forces in retaliation for the defections of Iranian government officials. Last week, 15 UK soldiers were abducted in Iraqi territorial waters by the Iranian navy. Iran claims the soldiers were in Iranian waters. The abduction occurred during a routine inspection of a suspected smuggling ship. Interdiction efforts by coalition forces in the area where the soldiers were taken have led to a significant reduction in IED attacks as the amount of IED making materials making into Iraq is lessening as a result of these efforts.

Iran states that it is willing to return the UK soldiers in return for the defectors. They are defectors not detainees. They defected for a reason, they were not kidnapped or taken in any way by the US. As far as the ones that were arrested, they were involved in combat operations in Iraq and are thus subject to military action, including arrest.

Diplomacy should not be an option here. It is one thing to kill our soldiers in the course of battle but unlawfully kidnapping them in Iraqi waters is unacceptable. Iran should be given an ultimatum to return the soldiers or face the consequences. Once the ultimatum is made then US, UK and allied nations must take swift decisive military action against Iran when they fail to comply. Thugs do not understand anything but force. They are asking for it, so let's give it to them. No soldiers, just surgical air strikes. The next time Amadini-whats-his -name shows his face then we will fill his head with a 7.62 instead of the peaceful teachings of the Koran.

Another American Hero

Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor was the second Navy SEAL to give his life in defense of freedom in the Iraq War. A brief description of his heroic lifesaving actions on September 26, 2006 will show the world what it means to be a warrior and an American.
Monsoor, pictured in the foreground of the picture, was working as part of a four man unit providing sniper security for American forces conducting a raid in the area. While on the rooftop, his unit was confronted with the enemy who threw a grenade which stuck Monsoor in the chest and fell to the ground. Monsoor did not hesitate and threw himself on top of the grenade taking the brunt of the explosion which cost him his life. He saved the lives of the other members of the team who sustained minor wounds resulting from the explosion.
Monsoor was recommended for a medal for this action. However, this was not his first act of bravery to earn him recognition. On May 9th in Ramadi, Monsoor and teammates were involved in a gunfight while on patrol. As bullets pinged off the ground around their feet, they braved hostile fire and pulled a wounded teammate to safety. Monsoor was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for his actions.
Monsoor is a heroic example of the what it takes to be a warrior SEAL and his actions are held in the highest regard. He held himself to the tenants of warriorship and his death is a testament to the bond of our warrior brothers fighting in harms way so we can rest easy at night.
God bless you Michael. Rest easy.

Prelude To War

Today, 15 UK soldiers were illegally seized by the Iranian navy and taken hostage. The UK soldiers were conducting routine interdiction missions in the Persian Gulf. After boarding a suspected smuggling ship, Iranian vessels sped into the area and took the soldiers captive. According to witnesses, the Iranian vessels took the boarding party and their equipment from international waters to Iranian waters.

The UK is demanding the immediate unconditional release of the soldiers and is pursuing every available avenue to secure their safety. At the very least this was an illegal kidnapping conducted in international waters and at most this is a prelude to war. I have no doubt that this kidnapping was to avenge the suspected kidnappings of Iranian officials by the West. However, as we have already discussed those were defections and arrest by military combatants in Iraq and resemble nothing of a kidnap. Iran is treading in dangerous waters and should be prepared to deal with the wrath of the United States and UK.

There will certainly be more news coming and Frontline America will keep you posted.

Honoring SpecOps

I have been doing a lot of reading in regards to the making of a special operations warrior lately and I believe that these are the most dedicated soldiers in the world and our dependence on them will grow as we continue to fight the War on Terrorism.

On March 2, 2002, Airforce PJ Jason Cunningham was killed during a combat rescue operation in Afghanistan. On the remote mountain top of Takur Ghar, Jason gave his life so "that other's may live".

During the initial hours of Operation Anaconda, Navy SEALs attempted to insert onto Takur Ghar and while exiting their helo were met with withering enemy fire. Navy Seal Niel Roberts fell from the ramp of the helo onto the ground. The helo, suffering badly, crashed on the desert floor, four miles from Roberts who was now in a fight for his life against Taliban fighters. Niel was alone and even though he was eventually captured and killed, he was not left alone for long.

Several attempts were made to get back to the mountain top to rescue Niel. Each attempt was met with devastating fire. QRF forces responded and an additional helo crashed on the summit. Jason began treating the gruesomely wounded men as the battle raged. While treating the men, Jason was struck with a bullet that destroyed his liver and mortally wounded him. He disregarded his own pain and continued his life saving efforts. Jason administered plasma to the soldiers, the same plasma that could have saved his life. All soldiers that Jason treated lived at the expense of his life.

The battle of Takur Ghar is a classic example of special operations winning "the war". Navy Seals, AirForce PJs, Air Force Combat Controllers, 160th SOAR and Rangers all working together to get "it" done. Surgical air strikes are great but the time comes when you have to send men, not bullets down range into the death ground to make it happen.

The battle of Takur Ghar raged for 17 hours and a total of 7 special operations soldiers were killed. These soldiers gave there lives to bring Niel home. The enemy was killed and Takur Ghar belonged to US forces. Although a high price was paid, that is what these professionals do. They offer their lives so that we can enjoy freedom and never have to step into the dark scary world of combat.

If you want a good example of what goes into the creation of a special operations soldier and their sacrifices to become the elite soldiers of the world, then I suggest the following reading: Dick Couch documents in great detail the making of a warrior in his books, "The Warrior Elite", "The Finishing School", "Down Range" and "Chosen Soldier". If you want a detailed description of the events of Takur Ghar then I suggest reading "None Braver" and "Roberts Ridge".

"The Lord said, whom shall I send and who will go for us? I said, here I am Lord, send me."

Death Ground Mogadishu

Reminiscent of Task Force Ranger's deadly battle in Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993 described in "Black Hawk Down", fighting is continuing to rage in the urban sprawl of Mogadishu. Somali government troops backed by Ethiopian troops have been battling against an Islamic insurgency that has been trying to overthrow the legitimate internationally recognized government.

In a direct action operation launched Tuesday at midnight, troops were engaged in heavy fighting with the insurgents. As the battle raged, masked insurgents dragged the dead bodies of a Somali soldier and Ethiopian soldier through the streets. The insurgents lit their bodies on fire and woman began pelting the burning bodies with rocks.

Over-shadowed by Iraq, the battling in Mogadishu will continue to rage with no end in sight. This is proof that Islamic extremism is not localized in the Middle East but in Africa as well. Terrorist attacks and fundamentalism are also growing into fruition in Europe and the United States.

If we do not fight for freedom now, then there will not be much left to fight for in the future.

American Hero Unveiled

Too many times, we concentrate on the negative news regarding the War on Terrorism and forget about brave Americans who fought and died in courageous battles. I would like to take this opportunity to spotlight the first Medal of Honor recipient in the Iraq war.
Sergent First Class Paul R. Smith, United States Army.
Smith distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty in action with an armed enemy near Baghdad International Airport on April 4, 2003. Smith and his unit were constructing a prisoner of war holding facility when they were violently attacked by a company sized enemy force. Smith quickly organized a defense with two platoons of soldiers, a Bradley Fighting Vehicle and several armored personnel carriers.
During the contact, Smith braved hostile enemy fire and engaged the enemy with hand grenades and anti-tank weapons to facilitate the rescue of three wounded soldiers. About to be overrun, Smith mounted a destroyed personnel carrier and manned a .50 caliber machine gun. Under withering enemy fire, Smith continued to engage the enemy, killing at least 50 enemy combatants. Smith's heroic actions in engaging the enemy allowed his fellow soldiers to withdrawl and helped defeat the enemy attack. Smith was dangerously exposed during his actions and was mortally wounded.
Smith's actions helped defeat the enemy attack and saved the lives of his fellow countrymen, nearly 100 US soldiers. Smith is survived by his wife, 18 year old daughter and 11 year old son. Smith is the essence of everything our American soldier stands for. He displayed fortitude and courage in facing a relentless and vicious enemy and sacrificed his life so that his fellow soldiers could live. Smith is a true American warrior and hero.

Insurgents Use Children To Detonate IED

Tragic and disturbing news out of Iraq today! Insurgents are using new techniques to get past military check points and detonate their IEDs, resulting in the murders of innocent children.

Soldiers manning a checkpoint in Baghdad observed a vehicle approach the checkpoint with two small children in the backseat. Seeing the children lowered the suspicion of the soldiers and they let the vehicle pass. Shortly after clearing the checkpoint, the vehicle parked near a market across from a school. Two men immediately ran from the vehicle and detonated an IED, leaving both children in the backseat to die.

It is obvious that the insurgents are appealing to the compassion and innocence of decent Americans by using children as a smoke screen for their deadly intentions. This should lead all Americans to believe the ruthlessness of these evil vicious people and further cement our goal of winning this war so these thugs do not continue to roam the neighborhoods of this planet. This event shows who the real enemy is and what their intentions are for the rest of us.

Quiz: Iran, Portland or University of Toledo?

You guessed it, this is your son at University of Toledo and his treasonous behavior your paying for.

This Can't Be America?!?

Which enemy burns our flags and a representation of our soldiers and displays signs like these you ask? Most would not consider these people the enemy because they live in Portland, OR. An editorial letter to a Portland paper stated that these kids were polite and respectful and were just speaking up for what they believe. Based off of these pictures, I would venture to say these kids are not polite or respectful and are overstepping their Constitutional free speech rights by saying and doing things that are likely to provoke a violent response from others.

Even if you are anti-war, how can you hold a sign like this and burn an American flag? I wonder what these people wrestle with in the dark hours of the night, knowing that they live in America; a land made free by the blood of brave Americans. I would expect this disgusting display from Islamic extremist in Europe but not from our own children in Portland. Today is a sad day for America.

For my local readers, I was driving down Hwy 68 Saturday afternoon and I knew I would be forced to watch anti-war peace activist holding their idiotic signs on the corner of S. Main and Blanco but I didn't expect to see a pro-troop rally at 68 and Hitchcock. It warmed my heart to see a group of true Americans four times larger then the group of peace activists flying American flags and showing their patriotism with such vigor. At least I know there are still some decent Americans left to wage this war. God bless us all, few but proud, Americans.

Iran Hints At Preemptive US Strike

Although not publicly stated by the Iranian government, sources close to the president claim that Iran may launch a preemptive strike against the United States in response to alleged kidnappings of Iranian government and military personnel perpetrated by the US. Specifically, Iran claims that US special operations units kidnapped Ali Reza Asgari, former commander of the Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Force and deputy defence minister. They also claim that several Revolutionary Guard generals were kidnapped, one out of Iraq.

The Revolutionary Guards weekly publishing states, "We’ve got the ability to capture a nice bunch of blue-eyed blond-haired officers and feed them to our fighting cocks”, “Iran has enough people who can reach the heart of Europe and kidnap Americans and Israelis.”

If I were Ahmadinejad, I would tread lighting when accusing the US of kidnapping Iranian officials. First, Asgari defected to the US, he was not kidnapped. Second, the generals that were alleged to have been kidnapped were involved in combat operation in Iraq and against the United States. If Ahmadinejad wants to accuse the US, I sure hope he has some evidence to back it up. And he better have something else to back up a direct un-provoked attack against the US (I am not talking about photos or a paper trail either).

This is further evidence of where the beliefs of Iran lay and what their intentions are. Are we going to sit back and react to a strike against the US or are we going to deal with this axis of evil and destroy it before they have the opportunity to kill more Americans?

Gas Attacks in Iraq

Insurgent chlorine gas attacks delivered through the use of trucks bombs killed 8 and sickened over 350 people including American soldiers on Saturday. This is the fifth such attack in Iraq this year.

If the insurgents are willing to attack with chemical weapons then what is to stop them from using any other means against any other people? They kill their own, they kill allied troops, they kill Americans, they destroy their own superstructure with these attacks, they bomb American ships in port, they bring deadly attacks onto American soil and Islamic American citizens attack us from within our own boarders.

When will America wake up. Pulling our troops out of Iraq will not solve the problem. These Islamic radicals have waged war against us and will not stop until we are dead...all of us. The attacks will continue and very soon we will be fighting in the streets of America instead of Iraq. This is not a game without consequences. We will pay the price for our trepidation unless we stand and fight . Here and now.

The KSM Show

The confession of Khalid Sheik Mohammed made public last weekend has been attacked and ridiculed this past week. Military interrogators cracked KSM and he admitted to beheading Daniel Pearl and taking part in over 30 terrorists plots against the United States and other allied nations.

Instead of praising the determined and relentless efforts of our military to protect America, Hollywood and left wing media outlets believe that this event is evidence of a corrupt government bent of seeking war with non-allied nations. The focal point of their attacks is torture and the belief that the confessions given by KSM were given under duress.

Although Americans stand for a higher moral purpose than most other countries, we must understand that the world has changed in the last decade and we must change with it. Just because we stand for this higher purpose does not mean that we need to play Mr. Nice Guy. It only means that we must focus our efforts on violent and evil people. If we applies non-traditional practices, such as torture, to these people, our moral standards are not lessened because these are combatants. By entering into combat actions with the United States you place yourself on the list and any and all means can be inflicted upon you.

I am not agreeing with Rosie and saying I believe torture took place at Camp Delta because if they say they did not use torture to elicit the confession then I believe our government. However, if the time comes when it would be beneficial to use torture techniques to gain information that would help save American lives then I would not loose any sleep over thinking about their agony. I have empathy for dead and dying Americans not enemy combatants.

Hugo's Ignorant Attacks

Barbara Walters recently interviewed Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and received a startling glimpse into the idiocy of his leadership. Walters spoke with Chavez in regards to President Bush, United State's intervention in other countries, oil consumption and CIA assassination plots against himself. Here is what he said:

When asked about Chavez's name calling regarding President Bush he said, "Yes, I call him a devil in the United Nations", "I said that he was a donkey just because I think that he is very ignorant … about the things that are actually happening in Latin America and the world. If that is an excess on my side, I accept. And I might apologize. But who is causing more harm? He burns people, villages and he … invades nations."

Referring to Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice Chavez stated, "as a lady I respect her, for the president of the United States, as a human being, I respect him, but they are killing people." Chavez has also referred to Rice and an illiterate that suffers from sexual frustration.

Chavez continued is moronic rampage by stating that he will not support any of the 08 Presidential candidates and if given the opportunity to run he would win over any candidate within six months. Chavez also accused the United States and the CIA of assassination and coup plots against him stating, "If something happens to me, if I get killed, the president of the United States should be held responsible".

Chavez is a manipulator plain and simple. He is all bark and no bite. The worst thing he can do to us is pull his oil supply out of our markets, which he claims is 1.5 million barrels per day. Personally, however damaging it would be, I believe our government and it's citizens should refuse to import and buy this oil. He gains populace by providing oil to low income Americans on the East coast.

His owns words secure his legacy. He is an enemy of the United States and has clearly stated that he will support Iran against any direct action from the United States. It is time the people of the United States stood for something and quit placating our South American enemies.

Nuclear Defiance in Iran

On Monday, Iran issued its first run of bank notes with the nuclear symbol emblazoned across it. Text on the note of Islam's Prophet Muhammad states, "men from the land of Persia will attain scientific knowledge even if it is as far as the Pleiades". Also featured is a picture of the late Ayatollah Khomeini, the father of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Can one piece of paper state the intentions of Iran more clearly? On this bank note, Iran is claiming proudly that they are religious extremists bent on the nuclear proliferation of their terrorist axis. Plain and simple.

Obama: Those Poor Palestinian Terrorist Led People

On Sunday, Presidential not so hopeful based on his idiotic comments Barack Obama, made a grave mistake when speaking to a group of Iowa Democrats. He stated that, "nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people". This comment was made when Obama was discussing his plans for creating peace in the Middle East.

Well Mr. Obama, get your pencil and paper ready because it's school time!

First of all, I can think of a group of people suffering more than the Palestinians and those are the Israelis. They are firmly entrenched behind enemy lines; surrounded on every side by the enemy. This same enemy does not recognize Israel as a state and seeks its inevitable destruction. Iran's president has made it his goal to "wipe Israel off the map" and is currently developing their nuclear weapons program. Further, the Israeli people constantly have to worry themselves with terrorist kidnappings and combat engagements from the enemy who lies a stone's throw away. If the enemy isn't crossing into Israel and terrorizing citizens then they are launching short range missle strikes into their homes. If that were not enough, they have been and are currently being pressured to give more of their land away in return for peace that we all know will not last.

Now Mr. Obama, compare just of few of these things Israel must deal with, to the fact that the Palestinian people may not have all the Western conveniences they desire and you tell me that again with a straight face. Lets add the fact that the Palestinian people will not stand for a democracy and have done nothing to disrupt their terrorist led government. You are not ready to be President and based on your recent actions I doubt you ever will be. You disgust me and you are one of those people I am sad to say is a fellow American.

Obama Lacks Accountability

Barack Obama has finally paid his parking tickets, $375 worth of them. No, these did not stack up in the Congressional parking garage, rather they have been on his record for 17 years. Obama received these while attending Harvard for a multitude of violations. Obama is only now paying them because of his run for President.

Although not a huge deal, it does shed light on Obama's character. It tells me that Obama has no accountability for his actions. If he is not willing to step up and take responsibility for some parking tickets then how is he going to step up and lead this nation in a time of war. The President must make difficult decisions and when those decisions are wrong he must own up to them. If Obama is elected President, I hope he has the fortitude to stand tall for what is right and stand firm in the face of adversity. God help all of us is does not.

Vandals Head for "The Wall"

It appears that anit-war protesters will be heading to The Wall to vandalize a memorial that represents over 58,000 dead Americans who fought for our survival in the Vietnam War. Protesters were ordered to "bring some paint" and I am asking proud Americans and war Veterans to BRING SOME PAIN. If the vandals follow through with their gutless intentions then I say let them come. Let them come hard and fast. I hope that every one of them has the fury and rage of proud Americans descend upon them and I hope they get their ass kicked with a vengeance!

Iranian Official Missing, Isreal on Alert

Ali Reza Asqhari, 67, has been missing since February 7th. Asqhari was the senior official in Iran's nuclear weapons program and Iranian officials have responded to Turkey to determine his whereabouts. Israel, who has been blamed for past disappearances of Iranian officials, placed all installations on alert for fear of Iranian direct military actions against them.

Iranian officials believe that Asqhari defected and was eventually taken to the United States as part of an effort by the CIA to obtain information on Iran's nuclear weapon program. Asqhari helped form Hezbollah's military and has specific information about Iran's intervention in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

If true, it appears that the CIA's efforts are paying off. However, if necessary, the United States must start taking these people by force and begin using innovative interrogation techniques to obtain vital information that will help the United Stated better defend itself. The time of worrying about legalities is gone and we must circumvent traditional practices to win the War on Terrorism.

Pakistan "Randomly" Captures Taliban Leader

Pakistani Security Forces captured the third most senior member of the Taliban's security counsel, Mullah Obaidullah Akhund in the city of Quetta on Monday. This arrest occurred hours after the surprise visit by Vice President Dick Cheney, who urged Pakistan to do more to prevent Al-Qaida from organizing itself within Pakistan. This marks the first arrest by Pakistan, of a leading member of the Taliban since the attacks on September 11, 2001. Akhund was the defense minister in the Taliban before it was rooted from power in October 2001.

Isn't it interesting that the Pakistani security forces have not taken any counter terrorism actions in over 5 years but within hours of the US crack-down on Pakistan were able to make such an important arrest? Do not forget that although they claim to be allies of the United States, they were once allied with the Taliban when they were the functioning government in Afghanistan. If they truly consider themselves and ally then they must stand tall to the world, proclaim it and start working with the US to root out the Taliban from the boarder towns of Pakistan.
