Anti-War Indoctrination and Propaganda

Anti-war protesters have sunk to a new low. In an effort to rally people against the war and attend and anti-war protest they have put up fliers of the event. However, their grave mistake came when they compared the American soldier fighting for our freedom to the Nazi storm troopers of WWII. Although against the war, they claim to love and support our troops but they showed their true colors when they printed and posted these fliers.

These protesters are asking for a war of their own but because they don't believe in violence as the answer to problems, I guess they are just going to get their ass kicked by some red blooded American from the mid-west someday.

UK Terror Plot Foiled At Last Minute

British police received information this morning of a van parked in the busy nightlife area of Piccadilly Circus that was smoking. Police responded and later alerted the bomb disposal unit. Turns out the van had another vehicle parked inside that was packed with gasoline, nails and detonators. The size of the vehicle born improvised explosive device and the number of the people in the area at the time would have equated to a large loss of life if it were not reported and disarmed. This specific designed attack matches several others attempted in the UK over the past several years according to MI5.

Europe and the UK specifically is being taken over by Islamic extremism and no one knew it until it was too late. Do we want America to suffer the same fate by not attacking the source of the problem right now? Terror attacks will continually be launched around the world, gaining intensity in Europe and moving into America. Our only hope is the undeniable destruction of Islamic radicalism. Granted, this is not an easy task and I believe traditional war will not resolve it to an end. However, even though this is not the war we envisioned, it is the war we are in. For now, we must kill as many insurgents as possible and leave Iraq with the most secure government we can. This is our hope for now.

Options For Iran

On Tuesday, former US ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, stated diplomacy has failed in dealing with Iran and he is worried about the continued existence of Israel. Bolton stated, "the current approach of the Europeans and the Americans is not just doomed to failure, but dangerous" he said. "Dealing with the Iranians just gives them what they want, which is more time". On Monday, Iran agreed to have a team from the IAEA enter their country and work with the Iranians in an attempt to unveil the secrecy behind their self-proclaimed peaceful purpose for nuclear technology. Bolton further stated that we only have two options left, an over-throw of the regime from within or a last resort military engagement.

Bolton is exactly right, Iran is buying time. By prolonging the inevitable we are committing ourselves to another protracted war or a nuclear Iran. Which is the lesser of two evils? Which are you willing to live with? When will we learn from history that problems such as these must be dealt with swiftly and decisively?

Today...Made It All Worth It

Recently, US advisers and Iraqi soldiers happened upon a grisly discovery. While on patrol, soldiers found numerous little Iraqi boys who were lying on the ground lifeless. Soldiers made some noise to try and rouse them. One boy lifted his head, looked and then laid his head back down closing his eyes. The boys looked like skeletons.

Soldiers entered the residence, which was an orphanage for special needs children. They found a total of 24 children all tied to their beds, naked and covered in the own feces. They were all emaciated from lack of food and all their bones were poking through. Several people were found cooking food for themselves and not giving any to the children.

American soldiers took custody of the children and transported them to an American hospital. They were all cleaned up and nursed back to health. A Lt. who was helping the children stated, "that one day was worth my entire deployment", "It makes the whole thing worthwhile".

Navy SEAL Throwing It Down

If you don't have trust in us as a military, as a fighting force, as special forces; then I don't understand why you would send us over there.

I use the analogy — and I'm not trying to insult anybody — but an interviewer asked me that same question; and I was like, 'Look, how long have you been married?' He was like, 'ten years. 'I was like, 'Do I come into your bedroom and tell you how to make love to your wife? No I don't. Alright? I assume you know how to do it.

'I've been doing this [being a special operations warfighter] for a long time. So have the generals and the admirals and the colonels who tell me how to fight. So I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't come onto our battlefield and tell us how to win this war.

We know how to do it. It's our job.If you're a politician, you deal with politics. I'm a soldier. I deal with war.

Dedicated To The Future Of America

In Pat Buchanan’s book, “Where the Right Went Wrong”, he clearly opposes the war in Iraq and to the un-informed reader, his points are powerful and persuasive. However, he basis his opinions on current conflicts and how they affect America now, failing to interpret what consequences we will face in the future.

He provides an historical foundation that concludes isolationism is the best defense and terrorism and insurgency always prove to be successful. Successful not because they can win the traditional military engagement but rather because they have the drive and ability to fight un-conventional warfare and grind down their opponent until they give up.

Obviously, the United States with the support of many around the world, had the justifiable right to bring swift justice to the Taliban for their roles in the 9/11 attacks. However, Buchanan claims that Iraq was a failed and un-justifiable mission from the beginning. Buchanan cites numerous intelligence failures in the pre-Iraq War days, all of which, in my opinion, can be argued. He also cites where American diplomacy is cementing our future in failure, specifically how our relationship with Israel and our ignorance of China will be the downfall of the United States.

According to Buchanan, Neo-Conservatives in the federal government subjugate themselves to the will and needs of Israel. I do not in any way consider myself a Neocon but I do pledge support to Israel within reason. What many fail to recognize is our commitment to a peaceful world, the spread of democracy and freedom and watching the backs of our friends.

Israel is our only true ally in the Middle East. We claim positive relationships with Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, etc but the fact is all are in bed with their Islamic neighbors. Only Israel can be depended upon to stand with the United States in the war on Islamic extremism. They have not been corrupted with Muslim influence and are willing to fight for what is righteous.

If we dis-continue our support of Israel, Israel with be consumed with war and although powerful, I fear it would eventually fall. Without Israel, as a western democratic influence, the Middle East would consume all of its moderate neighbors into Islamic extremism. Radical Islam would spread to the corners of the earth as it is already doing in Africa and Europe. Only the United States and a few small allies would be left to fight that war. A war made even tougher because of homegrown Islamic terrorist living here in America this very day.

As nice as isolationism sounds, I believe we must choose our battles carefully, fight the good fight and protect those who stand behind us when the tuff times come. Remember what America sacrificed in World War II and what would have happened if we sat at home any longer.

D-Day Anniversary

Today marks the 60th anniversary of the D-Day invasions of France that initiated America into WWII and ultimately changed the world we live in forever and for the better. In Gary Bauer's End of Day report he quotes portions of Franklin D. Roosevelt's prayer that he offered on the day of the invasion; the day America would sacrifice over 6,000 men to the alter of freedom. His words would sound comforting coming from the mouth of any of our leaders today.

"Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our nation, this day have set upon a
mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our
civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.
"…They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They
fight to liberate. They fight to let justice arise, and tolerance and
goodwill among all Thy people. They yearn but for the end of battle, for
their return to the haven of home.
"Some will never return. Embrace these, Father, and receive them, Thy
heroic servants, into Thy kingdom.
"And for us at home -- fathers, mothers, children, wives, sisters, and

2007 Six Day War

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War, in which Israel was attacked by the United Arab Forces. The UAF consisted of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc. Many events led to a pre-emptive Israeli attack on Egypt which initiated the war, however, these events were actions taken by the Arab community to, in effect, lure Israel into war. These events included diverting a major percentage of the Israeli water supply and blockading the Straits of Tiran from Israeli flag ships. At the end of the war, Israel had won and gained control of Eastern Jerusalem, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank and the Golan Heights. The Arab community has maintained to this day that this is the reason for constant conflict in the region.

Today Israel, and in effect the US, finds itself in a similar situation to that of the events that led to the Six Day War. For example, in the days before the war began, Egyptian President, Abdel Nasser stated, "If Israel embarks on, an aggression against Syria or Egypt, the battle against Israel will be a general one and not confined to one spot on the Syrian or Egyptian borders. The battle will be a general one and our basic objective will be to destroy Israel." This past Sunday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated, With God's help, the countdown button for the destruction of the Zionist regime has been pushed by the hands of the children of Lebanon and Palestine". He further stated, "By God's will, we will witness the destruction of this regime in the near future".

Ahmadinejad stated that if Israel enters into another war with Hamas, Hezbollah or any other Islamic entity in the region, that Iran and other radical Islamic nations will destroy Israel. Replace some of the characters involved and the story is exactly the same. There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as Israel stands.

Israel is a sovereign nation with the right to exists. It is under attack from Islamic and Arab radicals who seeks its undeniable destruction. We must continue to support Israel and take a stand against the rogue Arab nations. It is time for the US to stop calling for land for peace deals and stand behind Israel when it decides that a pre-emptive strike on an enemy nation is justified.

Countdown Button For Destruction Of Israel

On Sunday, Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, stated that Lebanon and Palestine have initiated the destruction of Israel by pressing the "countdown button". Ahmadinejad stated, "With God's help, the countdown button for the destruction of the Zionist regime has been pushed by the hands of the children of Lebanon and Palestine". He further stated, "By God's will, we will witness the destruction of this regime in the near future".

Ahmadinejad stated, that if Israel enters into another war with Hamas, Hezbollah or any other Islamic entity in the region, that Iran and other radical Islamic nations will destroy Israel.

They claim to be developing nuclear technology for energy independence and not weapons of mass destruction and they claim to be the leader of the civilized nations in the region, but how can anyone actually believe that they do not intend to cleanse the Middle East of the Israelis? For those un-believers, how can you not listen and take notes of what Ahmadinejad is saying?

They are telling us what they intend to do. They will engage Israel in warfare and then release weapons of mass destruction on them. Israel will un-doubtedly do the same in retaliation. This event will create a new world where the release of nuclear weapons is again an option. Cold War fears will return and the US will be forever engaged in war; a war which I fear can never be won.
