Memorial Day Honors

Memorial Day is reserved for honoring those men and women who have sacrificed all in service to our country. This day should be revered by all who live in this great nation and appreciate those freedoms gifted to us by the blood of our brothers in arms.

Partisan politics and your views on America’s military engagements in foreign lands should not be pursued on this date. All should remain neutral and reflect on what has been given to us.

Although sad, today should be a day of celebration in honor of our military service personnel. In return for their lives and sacrifices, they do not ask for much. A simple “thank you” and “we appreciate you” is all they need. For a warrior to continue on in the face of extreme and deadly adversity, a little appreciation is not to much to ask to stay them on their course.
For all those who gave their life as a sacrifice on the alter of freedom and for all those who walk dusty roads thinking of the family they left behind, let me say thank you. I love you and appreciate what you have done for my family. Without you, we would not know peace. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe.

The Enemy Within

I have been saying for a long time that the enemy is here, in the United States and poised to strike a blow into America's heartland. Well, the Islamic radicals here in America agree with my beliefs regarding them. A survey conducted by a reliable research group found some disturbing trends when it surveyed American Muslims.

Only 26% of Muslims believe the war on terrorism is aimed at actually reducing world-wide terrorism. This would lead one to conclude that the other 74% believe we are fighting terrorism for a reason motivated by something other than the un-provoked attack on America.

Only 12% believe we should be in Iraq and amazingly, only 35% believe we should be in Afghanistan. In case you didn't know, Afghanistan was the haven for the Taliban and was the origin of the 9/11 attacks. In addition, only 40% of Muslims believe that Arab men carried out the attacks.

32% support Al-Qaeda or are unsure of their opinions of them. These are the terrorists that planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks and have fought the Americans and Iraqis for more than 6 years. They have told us that they wish to kill us and have proven so by their malicious attacks on US troops.

26% of American Muslims believe that homicide bombings are an honorable tactic to use even if they destroy innocent lives.

So what conclusions can we draw? Well, it is simple but let me break it down for you anyway: A significant number of Muslims bedding down in the US consider themselves Muslim not American, they worship Islam and the culture of death instead of life, they support our enemies when in fact they are our enemies and the remaining balance of American Muslims will not stand up and defend America, their "homeland", against these hate and evil filled people.

Maybe its time we wage a war here at home.

US Navy Enters Straits Of Hormuz

The US Navy has sent 9 warships into the Gulf off the coast of Iran. The ships passed through the Straits of Hormuz in broad daylight on "training missions" intended to reassure governments that the US is dedicated to stability in the region. This is the largest Navy muster in the region since the beginning of the Iraq War in 2003.

The Straits of Hormuz is the most often used through-way for oil exports. If Iran attempted any military action including attempting to close the Straits it would greatly affect oil economies around the world.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged other governments in the region to rise up against foreign occupiers, most notably the United States, and evict us out of their lands. With Iran's grip on oil supplies, their intention to develop nuclear weapons, their support of insurgent operations in Iraq and their hostilities towards the United States and Israel are a clear and present danger and attention must be paid. If diplomacy fails then we must consider dealing with Ahmadinejad in a military manner.

War Gets A Facelift

Muhammed "Hamoody" Hussein was two years old when an Iraqi insurgent shotgun blast tore his face open. He was rendered blind and unable to breath through his nose. The damaged caused him to suffer from sleep apnea which could possible lead to brain damage in small children. This is a true tragedy of the insurgent battle in Iraq, but it gives loving hearts in the US a chance to shine.

The Everett chapter of the national nonprofit Healing the Children was able to bring Hamoody to the US for a much need surgery, which was donated by Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center of Seattle.

After an intensive surgery with at least one more for Hamoody to undergo, he is alive and in great condition. Hamoody can breath now and his face was re-constructed using one of his ribs. His survival is a testament to the will of America. An American family took him into their home and loved him as a son and doctors worked diligently to give him a chance of a long healthy life.

Many protest America's involvement in the Middle East, but for Hamoody, life was given a new by God and loving Americans.

Lebanese Military Battles Terrorist Militants

Fighting continues to rage in Lebanon, where the Lebanese military steps up its tactics against militants who are conducting operations from refugee camps. Lebanese governments officials believe the Fatah Islamic militants are working on be-half of the Syrian Islamic Uprising. Others believe the militants are actually Al-Qaeda operatives conducting training before going to Iraq.

Killed in Sunday's fighting was a high ranking Fatah member, Saddam El-Hajdib. He was one of the suspected train bombers in Germany.

The leader of the Fatah militant group is Shaker Youssef al-Absi, a Palestinian who was sentenced to death by a Jordanian court for his role in the assassination of US diplomat Laurence Foley. The actual assassination was conducted by Al-Qaeda leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and his associates.

If this isn't proof positive that Islamic radicals are conducting large scale operations around the world I don't know what is. Factional fighting in Lebanon has now been linked to Al-Qaeda and is drawing in the US and Israel as its victims. I do not believe we should involve ourselves with this fight. For the time being, Israel can defend itself against these ridiculous rocket attacks and although we support the Lebanese government in its operations, they are not a traditional ally and we should not give them any military support.

The enemy is resourceful and is taking advantage of other militant groups to extend their philosophies. We must maintain our fortitude if we are to survive the attack.

The Lion Of Fallujah Sacrifices All

Major Douglas A. Zembiec, The Lion of Fallujah, sacrificed his life on May 11, 2007 during combat operations in Baghdad. Always the dependable, tough and ready Marine, the Lion became notable after he led his men during successful and heroic operations in the battle for Fallujah. After the battle of Fallujah he would be awarded a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with V device for valor.

Douglas served in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. During an interview, he stated, "one of the most noble things you can do is kill the enemy". Friends stated, "He was the Lion of Fallujah. He was unstoppable". "And though people spoke of the fire in his eyes, Zembiec also was known for his wide smile and the unabashed tears he shed for his dead and wounded men, showing those who served under him that "you fight the good fight and you remember your fallen comrades". As a tribute to the man he was, another friend stated, "As fierce as he was in battle, that is how gentle he was with his family".
Douglas left behind his wife of two years and his one year old daughter.
Douglas led his men from the front against an evil enemy. He stood for all those pure and decent things that represent today's American Marine. He has the respect and gratitude of the nation and will forever sit by God's side.
Thank you Douglas for a job well done.

The Final Inspection

The Marine stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass. "Step forward now, Marine,How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't. Because those of us who carry guns, Can't always be a saint. I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough. And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny, That wasn't mine to keep... Though I worked a lot of overtime, When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God, forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place, Among the people here. They never wanted me around, Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand.

There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod. As the Marine waited quietly, For the judgment of his God. "Step forward now, you Marine, You've borne your burdens well. Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell." ~Author Unknown~

Hamas/Fatah Attept To Draw Israel Into War

Fierce in-fighting bordering on civil war erupted in the Gaza Strip four days ago. Hamas and Fatah, both members of the Palestinian unity government, are now fighting each other. Over the past four days, at least 40 people have been killed and scores more wounded. Hamas launched rocket attacks into Israel in an attempt to draw Israel into the in-fighting. This would give the Palestinians a common enemy which would unite them. Israelis retaliated with air strikes against militant targets.

Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stated, "Israel is not going to be dragged into the Gaza Strip the way that Hamas wants. We will choose the time, the place to respond and we will protect our citizens".

This is an on-going issue and further proof that we cannot deal with terrorists. Land for peace deals will not work and the US cannot and must not attempt to broker deals with evil men who seek the destruction of Israel. If the Palestinians cannot keep peace between themselves, how can we expect them to keep piece with a Western nation?

We must help protect Israel and other democracies in the Middle East and not involve ourselves in terrorists in-fighting. If the time comes where we must intervene to defend our allies then we should bring it with violence of action. If our actions are not needed then lets sit back and watch themselves kill each other.

Homegrown Islamic Terrorism

In Gary Bauer’s End of Day report he cites a Washington Times article regarding advanced security measures being pursued to combat Islamic terrorism within Great Britain. Security officials plan to, “profile mosques on the Continent and identify radical Islamic clerics who raise the threat of homegrown terrorism.” Specifically, officials plan to investigate how these possible subversive organizations obtain their funding.

It is about time!

When is America going to remember and learn from our previous mistakes? Our Constitution was not written with the forethought that we would be faced with religious extremists who would seek the destruction of the entire free world. Thus our liberty does not extend to terrorist. If this is the case, then we must make those liberties we do afford more flexible to allow security officials to track and destroy the enemy bedding down in the United States.

If Muslims here in the United States find this offensive and unacceptable then stand up and make yourself heard. I am not talking about whining and bring suit against concerned citizens who saw you “infiltrating and testing” airline security. I am talking about so called moderate Muslims who are American citizens and believe in the American way of life. If you claim that and believe it to be true, then stand up on behalf of America and denounce the beliefs and actions of terrorist Islam.

Taliban Commander Mullah Dadullah Killed By US Forces

Taliban commander and leader of all fighting forces in Afghanistan, Mullah Dadullah, was killed by US forces this past weekend. Dadullah orchestrated suicide attacks and beheadings for the Taliban. He is the second top-tier Taliban leader killed within the last six months. Taliban soldiers vowed to continue fighting using the same tactics Dudallah did.

This is the second top-tier Taliban commander killed in just six months. Slowly but surely we are winning. Now is not the time to run away. We have made significant progress in Afghanistan and Iraq with kills made by US forces. Keep the pressure on and press the attack. Offense is the only way to destroy this enemy.

Democratic Leadership...Leading Into Extinction

Hillary is a flopper. Instead of standing her ground, she is weak and when the tide turns, she turns with it.

Nancy is a placator. Instead of doing what is right for America, she tries to please everyone at the detriment of Americans.

Harry is the loser. Instead of standing strong in the face of opposition and keeping America safe, he wants to de-value everything our boys died for and bring our "losers" home.

Barack is the moral instigator. Instead of shining as a possible representative of the United States, he takes money from gangster rappers and fails to think before he opens his mouth.

Diane is the ethics bullhorn. Instead of following her own advice on ethics and moral compasses, she facilitates business deals that benefit her husbands businesses.

IS THIS THE LEADERSHIP YOU TRUST TO MOVE AMERICA INTO A SAFER, MORE SECURE AND MORE HONEST FUTURE? I DON'T!

War Not Politics

Although war is a means by which political opinion and action is carried out, it should not be dictated by politics. War is about good and evil. If the United States judges something evil enough to destroy for the preservation of America then we go to war. Once at war we fight the good fight until the evil enemy is destroyed.

Several Republican Congressman have recently urged President Bush that if things do not improve with the war in Iraq that he will lose support in their swing states.

President Bush has stood firm thus far and I hope he continues to hold his ground, the righteous ground. Ending the war with a troop pullout to maintain or gain political support is wrong. As a man of principal and integrity, President Bush should stand fast in the face of opposition and not subjugate himself or the administration to the pressures of politics. Character means doing what is right even if it means you are in the minority and will forever be be known as that man that kept us in Iraq.

Hezbollah Sets Sights On US

In a disturbing report issued today, Hezbollah is closer to launching attacks on the US than many may think. Hezbollah has no longer confined itself to Lebanon or Iran, they have set up camp in South America. Hezbollah has based itself out of the tri-border area, bordered by Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. This are is known for its lawlessness and is considered a haven for drugs and criminal activity. We can now add terrorism to the list.

"The Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia has taken root in South America, fostering a well-financed force of Islamist radicals boiling with hatred for the United States and ready to die to prove it, according to militia members". Not only is Hezbollah training for war against the US, they are financing operations out of the Middle East. Taking advantage of the drug trade, Hezbollah is also financing training, propaganda and attacks in South America.

Hezbollah has proved itself willing to attack in South America before. In 1992, they attacked the Israeli Embassy with a car bomb killing 29 people. In 1994, a suicide bomber killed 85 people at the Argentine Israelite Jewish Community Center. Argentine officials stated the Iranian president at the time, ordered the attacks in retaliation against Argentina for not cooperating with Iran in its nuclear development.

A Hezbollah terrorist interviewed in the tri-border area stated, "If he attacks Iran, in two minutes Bush is dead...we are Muslims. I am Hezbollah. We are Muslims, and we will defend our countries at any time they are attacked".

If anyone thinks that the war on terrorism and border security were not important to the survivability of America they are wrong. Our boarder with Mexico is wide open, especially to terrorists, who are able to finance high end smugglers to get them into America. They have shown a propensity to conduct operations and attacks in South America, the same attacks we once thought were localized to the Middle East.

Islamic extremism is slowly encroaching toward America. Evident by there domination in the Middle East, their movements into Africa and Europe and now they are perched position in South America. Lets not forget about the extremists embedded here in America. When the horn is blown and the attack begins, they will strike from our heartland.

We must defend America now or we will be defending our families here at home.

A Warriors Worth

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Thomas Jefferson.

Mickey Mouse's Culture Of Death

The Chairman for Campaign for Working Families, Gary Bauer reported on his End of Day report that a Mickey Mouse type character is now a leader in the indoctrination of young Islamic warriors. Palestinian television is now airing a show the depicts this character leading 5 and 6 year old children in chants of "kill the Jews" and "kill the Americans". The character then led the children in battle drills where they simulated firing machine guns and throwing grenades.

Where were the parents you ask? Standing to the side applauding their children and glowing with excitement. This is our enemy! An enemy who indoctrinates children in to the culture of death. Brain washing these children to believe that innocent Jews and Americans are evil and that in sacrificing themselves in an attack on them will somehow guarantee them eternal salvation from Allah.

Gary Bauer recommends the following: "1) No more U.S. tax money for the Palestinian government until the culture of death ends. 2) Drop pressure on Israel to make more
concessions to these murderers. 3) Require every weak-kneed U.S.
politician who keeps saying that we must negotiate with these thugs to tell
us what he thinks of the tape. 4) Prepare ourselves and our families for
tough years ahead – this kind of evil won’t leave us alone until we defeat
it".

US Islamic Terror Plot Foiled

Six Islamic radicals have been arrested in connection with planning attacks on military installations, including Fort Dix Army Base in New Jersey. The six Yugoslavian men are believed to be Islamic radicals and were arrested when they attempted to purchase AK-47 assault rifles from a dealer working in connection with the FBI. The men had conducted surveillance of several bases and were using Al-Qaeda training materials to help formulate their attacks.

How many terror suspect arrests must be made and how many terrorist plots foiled before we as a nation come to the realization that this will not end until we destroy the enemy? The scenario is the same every time, Islamic radicals stockpiling weapons and conducting surveillance in preparation for an attack within the US.

It is entirely likely that Al-Qaeda has terrorist cells and networks that were embedded in the US long before the attacks on 9/11. These cells are just waiting for America to do what it always does and lower its guard, then they will strike. Make no mistake, Islamic terrorists are capable of so much more than this specific plot. We must resign ourselves to this fact and dedicate ourselves to winning a detracted war.

We must win....at all costs.

The Night Stalkers of the 160th SOAR

Unit motto: Death Waits in the Dark
Professional Standard: On Target +/- 30 seconds Unit Pledge: NSDQ

These are the warriors of the 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment). Their mission-to infil, exfil and fight with their customers, who range from Navy SEALs to Army Delta Force.

Established decades ago, the Night Stalkers' covert missions did not come to public light until The Battle of Mogadishu claimed the lives of 19 special operations personnel. Un-cloaked, the determined history of this elite fighting unit can now be known.

The Night Stalkers have been at the tip of the spear of every special operations effort since its inception. In 1987, during Operation Prime Chance, they were instrumental in containing and stopping Iranian mine laying efforts in the Shatt al Arab waterway. Flying covert missions in the darkest hours of night, only feet above the top of the water, the Night Stalkers attacked Iranian mine laying ships and defended its waterborne base against attacks from superior numbered boghammer attack boats.

In 1993, the Night Stalkers were delt a heavy blow during Operation Gothic Serpent when they lost several helicopters and many men to Somalia RPG fire. The Battle of Mogadishu would come to define special operations and forever change the future of the death-ground. That lonely night in the Bakara Market would prove to the military and the civilian world that no matter how tough the fight, no matter how the odds were stacked against you, the special operations family including the Night Stalkers would not stop until every one came home, dead or alive.

In 2002, the pledge, Night Stalkers Don't Quit, would again be tested on a cold and desolate mountain top in Afghanistan called Takur Ghar. One Night Stalker helicopter was shot down on this mountain top at 12,000 feet trying to infil Navy SEALs and another was shot down trying to deliver a quick reaction force to help rescue their comrades. A decisive battle raged for the majority of the day, taking the lives of SEALs, PJs and Rangers and severely wounding several Night Stalkers. Nigh Stalker pilots and medics did not stop fighting all day. One Night Stalker medic continued treating wounded soldiers even after he was racked in the stomach with gunfire.

Many more warriors would be lost in recent years, but the pride and professionalism of the 160th SOAR will forever form the tip of the spear and lead America to victory in any violent engagement.

I heard the voice of the Lord saying, whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, here I am, send me! Isaiah 6:8

Iraqi Al-Qaeda Information Minister Killed

Muharib Abdul-Latif al-Jubouri, the information minister for Iraq's Al-Qaeda cell was killed by US forces this week. al-Jubouri was killed when he refused detention in an operation several miles west of the Taji air base. al-Jabouri was wanted in connection with numerous high profile kidnappings of Western citizens, including Jill Carroll from the Science Monitor Reporter and Tom Fox who was later found shot to death.

This is not to be confused with reports that Abu Ayyub al-Masri, the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, was killed by insurgent fighting. This information has still not been confirmed by US intelligence.

It appears Mr. Reid spoke at just the opportune time. Evidence has been mounting the previous two weeks that we are in-deed winning. As high level Al-Qaeda operative and insurgents are destroyed we must continue providing our troops with the resources they need to find and kill the enemy. Now is obviously not the time to turn tail and run.

"Strength And Compassion"

Whether you believe we have won or lost, everyone must admit we have made a difference. The American military not only brings violence of action to the enemy, it also brings love and compassion for their fellow human beings.
Michael Yon captured this picture and tragic story on a recent mission in Iraq. A vehicle born improvised explosive device detonated into a Stryker vehicle while American soldiers were patrolling in a neighborhood. Children were running around the Americans, hoping to talk to the soldiers and shake their hands. Insurgents detonated the VBIED while the children played.
An American soldier scooped up this little girl and began rushing her to American medics. As the girl faded away in his arms, he stopped to talk to her and hug her. The girl never made it to the hospital and died in this soldiers arms.
With a love like this soldier had for a girl he didn't know, we can conquer all evil.

Rage's Assassination

Sadly, America is not just faced with a ruthless enemy in the Islamic extremists, we are also faced with an enemy here at home. Some would argue this enemy is even more dangerous. To make matters worse, this homland enemy is targeting our children. Their method of attack? Indoctrination.

In a sad and treasenous video, the lead singer of Rage Against The Machine stated that President Bush and his administration should be tried, hanged and shot like war criminals. He further stated that the US seeks the destruction of other countries so it can profit from their reconstruction.

This band targets high school and college age kids and fills their heads with corrupted views of politics and world diplomacy. It paints the government as the enemy and provokes citizens to violently revolt against the government. When will America stand up against factions like these and demand a stop to their posinous messages?

Abu Ayyub al-Masri Killed

If Iraqi reports are accurate, the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al-Masri has been killed in a firefight north of Baghdad by Sunni insurgents. Although the report has not been confirmed by US intelligence, Iraqi officials claimed to have seen the body. al-Masri filled the leadership vacuum left when US forces killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in June of 2006.

Looks like we are still winning. Stay tuned to Frontline-America for the latest update.
