Today...Made It All Worth It

Recently, US advisers and Iraqi soldiers happened upon a grisly discovery. While on patrol, soldiers found numerous little Iraqi boys who were lying on the ground lifeless. Soldiers made some noise to try and rouse them. One boy lifted his head, looked and then laid his head back down closing his eyes. The boys looked like skeletons.

Soldiers entered the residence, which was an orphanage for special needs children. They found a total of 24 children all tied to their beds, naked and covered in the own feces. They were all emaciated from lack of food and all their bones were poking through. Several people were found cooking food for themselves and not giving any to the children.

American soldiers took custody of the children and transported them to an American hospital. They were all cleaned up and nursed back to health. A Lt. who was helping the children stated, "that one day was worth my entire deployment", "It makes the whole thing worthwhile".
