More Evidence In Case You Had Any Doubts

At a meeting between Syrian and Iranian officials that also included insurgents from Iraq, media outlets were treated to the post-US Iraq plan as envisioned by members of the axis of evil. The meeting, held in Damascus, revealed exactly what the enemy thinks of the US presence in Iraq, how they plan to use our own people against us and what the consequences will be for Iraqi who helped in defending and leading their democratic nation. Following are excerpt from Michelle Malkin's Hot Air blog:

Once the majority of American troops have left, the alliance plans to throw out the constitution, dissolve the parliament, cancel all resolutions issued from the Bremer era on, and disband the existing security forces and U.S.-trained Iraqi army divisions. The U.S. embassy in Baghdad, they said, would have to close — “as in Saigon. With helicopters on the roof” said Samarai — until Washington recognized a new, resistance-led Iraqi governing council, and offered compensation to all individuals and organizations affected by the war. Under the new leadership, all Iraqi citizens who worked for or cooperated with the current, coalition-backed government would be arrested. A “reconciliation council”, drawn in large part from the ranks of the armed insurgency, would then draw up plans for a permanent “technocratic” government — which would immediately seek criminal charges and file civil suits against the U.S. government and major American war supporters in international court.

“The American project in Iraq is now precarious,” said Nizar al-Samarai, a conference spokesman and former official in the Saddam Hussein regime. “We are sure of our victory now, so we decided to meet.”…“America doesn’t leave a country by force,” said Samarai. “Bush has been in a hole, digging deeper. So every year, it has become more difficult for America to leave Iraq. But what the muqawimma [resistance] movement has done is more than America can bear. Now there is not only a military battle in Iraq, there is a political battle in the U.S.” That part of the battle, he said, was nearly over. As for their summit, the delegates insisted it was merely postponed not cancelled. It will eventually be held — though perhaps not in Damascus.

Is there any question of what their intentions are? They will use the words of a few outspoken Americans against us in an attempt to turn political opinion against the war in Iraq. With draining support for our military the insurgency will continue to rise. When the day comes when America leaves, the insurgency, with the help of Iran and Syria, will over-throw the legitimate government and rule with a theocratic government led by terrorists. They will sweep through Iraq and anyone that assisted coalition forced will be killed. Iraq will seal the region's fate and the entire Middle East will fall into Jihadist violence. Israel will be encircled and attacked repeatedly. Terrorists attacks with the US will rise. Soon, we will be fighting an insurgency within our own country.

I have adopted a young man by the name of Peter. I have written him and sent him packages. He finally found the time (in the middle of combat) to write back which I did not expect. He just got back from a short leave to the states where he was able to enjoy the birth of his first child. Sadly, he had to return to Afghanistan shortly after. Peter could be anyone to anybody. He is a Father, Husband, Relative and Friend. If a couple minutes that I take for granted can turn a day in Afghanistan into a better day then what choice do I have but to sacrifice for him. After all he is making a sacrifice for you and me and is willing to take a bullet for us.

Hezbollah All But Declares War On Israel

In a recent statement to Al-Jazeera, Hezbollah leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah claimed that Hezbollah rockets can reach all of Israel, which he identified using the term, "occupied Palestine". In the 34 day conflict last summer between Israel and Hezbollah, Hezbollah launched approximately 4,000 rockets into Israel, none of which struck Tel Aviv. Now they claim that they could have struck it last summer but chose not to. Now Hezbollah claims they have upwards of 33,000 rockets available.

Nasrallah defiantly stated, "We in the resistance have weapons, and we openly declare that we have weapons, that we are completing our preparedness for a greater and more dangerous stage".

After reading this, maybe you could help answer a question for me. Why are trying to broker a land for piece deal with these people after they have clearly shown us once again what their true intentions really are?

Nasrallah referred to Israel as "occupied Palestine". That means he believes that Israel rightly belongs to the Palestinians and the mere presence of Israelis on their land constitutes and act of war. Their one and only goal is the destruction of Israel and its return to the Palestinian people, the same people who target and murder innocent Israelis with rocket strikes and kidnap and illegally detain Israeli soldiers.

Based on Nasrallah's statements, we know what their goal is and also how they plan to obtain it. They will surely choose an incident that they can exploit and again launch rockets into Israel in an attempt to strike fear into the hearts of the Israelis and kill some of them in the process. We must not attempt to broker deals between the righteous and the hate filled terrorists. We should continue to support Israel as an ally and only legitimate non-Islamic government in the region.

I accept and understand that human predators exist. Criminal or terrorist, they take advantage of our civilized society to prey upon the weak. They represent evil and must be confronted and defeated.

I believe that self-defense is a moral imperative, and that illegitimate force and illegal violence must be met with righteous indignation and superior violence.

I will not rely on others for the security of myself, my family and my community. I proudly proclaim that I run with a like-minded pack. I do not amble through life with the mind-numbed herd.

I will train with my chosen weapons, maintain them and carry them in a condition of readiness at all times. I will be mentally prepared and physically equipped to effectively respond to an attack or emergency.

I will live a quiet and unobtrusive life, but I will develop and retain the capacity for swift and decisive violence. I recognize that I am the modern equivalent of the traditional Minuteman, and that I may be called to service at any time against heavily armed enemies. I will respond effectively.

I accept that I am a pariah among some of my countrymen, and a quaint anachronism to others. I will not hold their ignorance against them.

Top Iraqi Al-Queda Leader Nabbed

Today, Central Command issued a statement stating that the highest ranking Al-Queda leader in Iraq has been caught. Khaled Abdul-Fattah Dawoud Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, also known as Abu Shahid, was captured in Mosul on July 4. Information obtained from Al-Mashhadani indicates that the group's foreign leadership, namely Osama Bin Laden, wields considerable authority over Al-Queda Iraq.

This is an excellent catch and Al-Queda will feel its impact. Although a catch like this will lead to dis-organization it will not ultimately lead to the enemy's destruction. We must allow US forces to continue the disorganization of the insurgent cells and networks until they have been so successful as to render Al-Queda in-operable. If we quit now, they will have time to re-organize and launch new and more deadly terrorist campaigns.

Staff Sgt. Clinton Yoder holds the hand of a 7-month-old baby he treated for a poisonous spider bite, June 23, in a village on the western outskirts of Baqubah, Iraq. Yoder is with 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment. Soldiers of 2-1 Cav., 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, from Fort Lewis, Wash., have sealed off the western side of Baqubah as their sister Stryker Brigade, 3-2 SBCT, also from Fort Lewis, Wash., continues to clear the city of Baqubah in a major offensive known as Arrowhead Ripper, launched on the city and its outskirts on June 18. Arrowhead Ripper aims to kill or capture all insurgents in Baqubah by sealing off the city and any avenues of escape. Meanwhile, Soldiers with 4-2 SBCT are meeting with village leaders and rendering medical aid to people in the outlying villages.

Good Job Boys, Keep Up The Good Work!

Just in: Soldiers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division have captured several high value targets. On July 10th, Strike Force Geronimo air assaulted into Kalsu, Iraq to hunt down Al-Queda terrorists wanted in connection with the kidnapping and murder of three America soldiers recently. They found their bad guys and took them into custody as well as some weapons and other terrorists materials.

It takes time, but we'll get 'em.

Terrorism Will Be Eradicated In Pakistan

In an address to the nation, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf vowed that Islamic extremism and terrorism will be eradicated in Pakistan. This address came after the Pakistani military stormed and re-took control of the Red Mosque.

Musharraf stated, "unfortunately we have been up against our own people... they had strayed from the right path and become susceptible to terrorism". This is the problem humanity is faced with. The problem is killing another human being. We must make a distinction between those who choose to live by the law and those who choose to break it. Those who choose to break it must be dealt with swiftly and certainly. If they choose to involve themselves in terrorism and war with others then they are the enemy and the enemy must be defeated.

Musharraf has made a bold statement against those who commit terrorism in his country. He has committed to himself a death sentence which the commission of will be attempted by Islamic extremist within Pakistan. However, some things in life are more important than one man.

Lets say Musharraf is assassinated or losses control in some other manner, the world and specifically the United States will be faced with several severe problems. First, Pakistan will be at risk of losing control of their nuclear weapons. That means terrorists will be in control of a nuclear arsenal capable of destroying many governments. Second, who will then control Pakistan's oil fields? Iran is already eyeing a possible security vacuum in Iraq, what would stop then from moving into Pakistan as well?

We must resign ourselves to victory at all costs. We are righteous and sometimes the righteous must make tough decisions that include killing the enemy.

Recipe For Massacre

Retired military officer and author Ralph Peters penned a blistering
response today to the Washington politicians in both parties who are
pushing for a retreat from Iraq, calling them the "cowards on Capitol
Hill."

He predicts that if they succeed in forcing a withdrawal, the inevitable
result would be "a slaughter of the innocents – so many dead the bodies
will never be counted." He also speculates that Iran will fill the vacuum
left by America’s retreat from the Middle East and will effectively take
control of Iraq’s southern oil fields.

Peters is far from alone in his analysis. Virtually any military man in
Washington will tell you the same. Retired four star General Jack Keane
said today that Iran’s operatives are already all over Iraq, providing
weapons and advice to literally all of our opponents, whether they are
Shiites or Sunni.

Iran smells weakness, and you can bet our enemies across the world are
picking up the same putrid scent, and likely picking sides. We will be
less safe after a retreat, my friends – not more!

Finally, what about the men and women in Baghdad, Fallujah and Anbar
Province right now giving everything they have for America? Many of them
joined the U.S. military after 9/11 and after the war in Iraq began. Over
3,500 have died and another 25,000 have been wounded. They volunteered for
this war because they believed our country was serious about defeating the
Islamofascists who attacked us and who right now are planning the next
attack on our homeland.

This war is not yet won, and it is far from over. Do Reid and Pelosi,
Lugar and Voinovich, and the rest of the defeatists even think about what
it means to give up and cause the sacrifices of so many to be in vain?


"Anti-War Terrorists"

In previous reports, I have told you about the incredibly intolerant "hate
speech" that some on the Left have directed toward our young men and women
in uniform. As disgusting as signs like "We support our troops when they
shoot their officers" are, that is the price we pay for living in a free
society.

Our soldiers make incredible sacrifices – leaving loved ones for long
periods of time – and must fight and serve under intense conditions against
a brutal and vicious enemy, while adhering to the standards of our
civilized society. When a few break the rules, it’s front page news for
weeks, and they are prosecuted by our government.

But what happens when anti-war activism turns violent? If a soldier were
gunned down by an anti-war protestor, would that make the front page? Of
course not, and I bet you have never heard of Airman Jonathan Schrieken. I
had not until I read a column today by Michelle Malkin in the New York
Post.

Schrieken was shot in the chest at point blank range on the Fourth of July
by an individual who, according to police, was "suffering from mental- health problems." That may well be true, but it isn’t the full story.

The assailant, Matthew Marren, who committed suicide after he shot
Schrieken, reportedly left notes full of hatred for the government and the
U.S. military, and expressed how he "wanted to go out making a statement."
Instead of writing a letter to the editor or casting a ballot, it appears
as though Marren made his "statement" by shooting a soldier on the Fourth
of July.

Beyond a few articles in local papers, this story hasn’t been touched by
Big Media, but, as Malkin notes, just imagine if the scenario were
reversed: "What if a soldier had attempted to murder a peace activist over
the holidays in order to make a statement?"

The "good news" in this story is that Jonathan Schrieken was not killed and
is recovering. But the bad news is that whatever "mental-health problems"
Marren was suffering from appear to have infected whole swaths of anti-war
radicals, and even young congressional interns, as you may recall, who seem
to have trouble telling the good guys from the bad guys.

Our soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq are the good guys who have
liberated millions from the tyranny of the Taliban and from the "Butcher of
Baghdad." Today, they are doing their best to defeat an enemy that hides
in places of worship, beheads its captives, turns children into human bombs
and that has vowed to bring more death and destruction to our shores.

May God give them strength and courage, keep them safe and bless their
families for the sacrifices they have made!

Pakistani Army Storms Mosque, Kills Cleric +50

In a pre-dawn raid this morning, the Pakistani army stormed the Red Mosque killing 50 terrorist militants, including their cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi. At least 8 soldiers died in the raid, including many more wounded. Scores of hostages were rescued during the raid.

Ghazi was using the mosque as a headquarters for the training and indoctrination of militant Muslims who would then preach and spread radical Islam into the community. The ideology Ghazi was trying to spread was similar to what the Taliban used when
controlling the government of Afghanistan.

Ghazi stated, “The government is using full force. This is naked aggression”, "My martyrdom is certain now.”

Muslims Declare Sovereignty Over US & UK

Just days after several failed terrorist car bomb attacks in London, several thousand Muslim extremists gathered at the London Central Mosque and chanted clerics who preached the overthrow of the US and UK and world domination of Islam.

Anjem Choudary, the co-founder of Al Muhajiroun, an organization with ties to the suspects in the London transit bombing several years ago, preached the overthrow of the British and American governments, stating that the Quran will one day rule over America. Shouts of "democracy, hypocrisy!" filled the streets as another cleric, Abu Saif stated, "Brothers and sisters, make no mistake. Make no mistake. The British government, the queen, the MPs in this country, they are enemies to you, enemies to Allah and enemies to the Muslims." Abu Saif is a suspected member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir, a cell who attempted to recruit the mastermind doctor who planned the Glasgow International Airport bombing.

I am afraid to say that we will see mass demonstrations here in the US in the not so distant future if we do not make a stand now against these radical religious zealots. The UK is paying the price for mass influxes of Muslims without regard to proper and standardized immigration processes. They have opened the gate and let the enemy bed down with them; now the enemy has awoken and is ready and positioned to fight.

Liberty has been guaranteed to Americans not those who are here illegally here in the US. We must use those resources at our disposal to identify, track and deal with these terrorists already within our "fences".

Another Motivational Re-enlistment

After a roadside bomb destroyed his vehicle and shattered his right leg, Marine Cpl. Gareth Hawkins refused to be evacuated to medical attention until he could re-enlist in front of his fellow brothers. Hawkins figured no better time existed to motivate those around him.

Talk about a tough and dedicated Marine.

Insurgent Propaganda

Check out some of the posters that insurgents within Iraq are positing on Islamic Jihadists websites. Along with a vast array of posters are instructions on how to post them. The posters pictured here are the tamest of the bunch. Several show bloody Americans some of whom are already dead. The posters are an attempt to sway America public opinion and scare the public into forcing the US government to take more action in bringing the troops home.

Now we have evidence that the enemy wants the US gone. The insurgents are telling us what they want and some here in the US and on capital hill are playing into their hand. A pullout of Iraq will embolden the enemy and they will continue to spread their evil hatred for America and the West to the rest of the world.

Our only hope is the absolute destruction of the enemy. It will be a long hard road but one that must be traveled.

July 4th Combat Reenlistment

On July 4th, 588 soldiers, mostly on their 2nd and 3rd tours, reenlisted in a Multi-National Force-Iraq Reenlistment, Naturalization and Independence Day Ceremony held at Camp Victory in Baghdad. Additionally, 161 soldiers were sworn in as American citizens. Sadly, two soldiers, Sgt. Kimel Watt and Spc. Farid Elazzouzi were killed in combat action just days before they were to be naturalized as citizens.

General Petraeus had the following to say, "“Sgt. Kimel Watt and Spc. Farid Elazzouzi, who would have been in your ranks here this morning, were lost in recent combat action, giving the last full measure of devotion for a country that would have become fully theirs today”, “words can not express the admiration I feel for these two men or the sadness I feel for our nation’s loss and their families’ sacrifice”.

In this time of trial, it is so re-assuring to know that these soldiers know what they are fighting for...for you and me. Even more so, the soldiers who were naturalized, did so only after they have made a solemn pledge to defend America against it's enemies. For those two soldiers who gave their life for America when not even citizens yet, speaks to the kind of people who founded America and made it great. God bless them all.

Islamic Violence Grips Pakistan

Pakistani security forces are stepping up efforts in an attempt to resolve a three day old siege at the Red Mosque in Islamabad by Taliban-style Islamic radicals. Forces blew holes in the Mosque walls and shot a tear gas volley in an attempt to scare or better motivate the terrorists to surrender. Reporters reported hearing a fierce gun-battle within the Mosque. The Mosque and attached school houses 850 students, mostly women and children. Released hostages report that the women and children are being used as human Shields to deter an attack.

The terrorists are trying to infiltrate a Taliban-style regime from rural Afghanistan tribes into urban Pakistan. The Lal Masjid movement as it is known, is currently upset about the destruction of illegally built Mosques in the region. Their current activities have resulted in the death of at least 17 people thus far. Recent terrorist acts perpetrated by the group include kidnapping a prostitute and attacking and vandalizing stores selling Western products. The group demands the enforcement of Islamic law.

This is just another example of the lengths the enemy will go to to ensure that Islamic law is the law of the land, including the law of America's land. They are using their own women and children as Shields to protect themselves as they spew their venomous ideological and religious fanaticism. They preach that their loving god Allah teaches peace yet they murder anyone who simply disagrees with them. For the Islamic extremists the only person that can ever truly be just and accepted is the Muslim man.

The Awakening

The cage has been rattled and the giant has awoken; he is here now and ready to wreak destruction upon it's enemies. America is one of many enemies of the Islamic Jihad. Striking statistics and information is being leaked about just how deep we are all entrenched in this war. A pull-out of Iraq or anywhere else will not solve this problem. The enemy has resigned themselves to infinite war with you and me and will not stop until we are dead.

Statistics from the UK, whose Islamic immigration is largely out of control, shows exactly what we are up against. Over 2,000 Islamic terrorist are under surveillance and up to 30 terror plots are in the active planning or commission stages. This is just in the UK, lets not forget our domestically grown and educated terrorists here in the US. These are citizen terrorists that preach against their fellow citizens and instigate the overthrow of their own government, which they believe is unjust because it does not subscribe to Sharia law.

Tough times are ahead. We will again find ourselves under attack in the near future. However, we must resign ourselves that no matter the costs, victory is our only option. Victory is our only hope.

Our War Of Independence

In recent weeks I have kept up a regular stream of reports on the struggles
confronting our country. As the 231st birthday of America dawns tomorrow,
let us set aside these concerns for a moment.

Instead, let us look back to that day in 1776 when 56 men signed the
Declaration of Independence and birthed a nation that was to become a
"shining city on a hill," the guardian of liberty and the leader of the
free world.

They were merchants, farmers, clergymen and lawyers, men who stood to lose
their wealth and standing in society for signing their names to that
document we cherish today. All their lives they had served as loyal
subjects of the king. They were all educated men who understood what they
were undertaking by rebelling against the British Empire.

While honoring their courage, Americans often forget the sufferings of the
Founding Fathers. For the most part, the War for Independence destroyed
the lives of these men.

John Hart, signer from New Jersey, had to flee the deathbed of his wife,
leaving his 13 children to disperse into hiding from the British, who
vandalized his farm. Returning a year later to find that his wife had
passed away, his children were missing, and his livelihood had been
destroyed. He died within weeks, dejected and alone.

Carter Braxton, a signer from Virginia, had his fortunes destroyed by the
British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died
impoverished.

At the Battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., signer from Virginia,
encouraged General Washington to fire on Nelson’s own house, which was
being used as a headquarters by General Cornwallis. Without a home, and
having lost his fortunes in the war, Nelson died bankrupt.

These are just a few examples of the sacrifices these men made for the
United States when it was little more than an idea. Countless more over
the history of this nation have given their lives for the cause of liberty.
And today in Iraq and Afghanistan, Americans are sacrificing again for our
nation.

As we celebrate and enjoy our freedoms on this Independence Day, let us not
forget the daily sacrifices of our men and women overseas. Let us
rededicate our hearts to our country and "with a firm reliance on the
protection of Divine Providence…mutually pledge to each other our Lives,
our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

In closing, I would like to offer a brief word of encouragement to our
pastors who are on the front lines of the culture war. John Peter Gabriel
Muhlenberg is a lesser-known hero of the War for Independence. He was a
pastor and a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses. In 1775, a year
before the United States of America was to be born, he preached a sermon on
Ecclesiastes 3:1 "For everything there is a season and a time for every
matter under heaven." Pastor Muhlenberg closed his sermon with, "In the
language of Holy Writ, there is a time for all things. There is a time to
preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight." And
temporarily shedding his clerical robes, he revealed to the congregation
that he was wearing the uniform of an officer in the Continental Army.

VBIED Strikes Yemen Temple

Everyone has heard of the terror plots and attacks across the UK over the weekend, ending in the successful, yet poorly planned, attack at Glasgow International Airport. What many have not heard about is the suicide car bomber that attacked an ancient temple in Yemen, killing 8 people, mostly tourist. The attack has been attributed to Al-Qaeda who has a strong presence in the area. Al-Qaeda was blamed for the bombing of the US Cole in 2000, which killed 17 US sailors and the attack on a French oil tanker two years later that killed one worker.

This is evidence that Islamic extremism seeks the undeniable destruction of all people who do not subscribe to Sharia law or Allah as their god. They will attack anywhere at any time, they will attack all Western nations and even kill their own to carry out the attack. They will continually strike until they finally succeed and they will even attack holy sites which they claim are safe ground. The enemy has proven their intentions time and again. When will people realize that when Muslims speak of peace, they do not include Christians, westerners or anyone else in ideal world. They will never seek or accept peace with us.
